Michael Budd, Director

Michael Budd is the President and CEO for Indiana United Ways, which is the state association for 43 United Ways across Indiana and provides back-office services to United Ways across the United Way network. He started this role in January of 2022.

Prior to joining Indiana United Ways, Michael was the CEO of United Way of Greater Lafayette in Lafayette, IN for six years, he was the Vice President of Resource Development at United Way of Greenville County in Greenville, SC for 9 years and he worked for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta for 7 ½ years in various fundraising and community engagement roles. His professional career started at the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 5 years in sales, marketing, and customer service roles.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University.

Michael lives in Battle Ground, Indiana with his wife, Susan.
