OASIS Community, Inc. is led by passionate parents, guardians, professionals and self-advocates. The board of directors is supported and enhanced through consultants and advisors with recognized expertise in areas specific to the mission of OASIS Community.
Rob Eyman, President
Rob and Anne have been married for 35 years. They have four children ages 19 to 32. Michael, their 28 year old, was born with Cri du Chat syndrome. He is nonverbal and requires 24/7 assistance.
Tom Humphrey, Treasurer
Tom & Angela will have been married for 40 years on October 18. They have five children (2 biological & 3 adopted) and six grandchildren. All three adopted boys have some degree of IDD.
Kathy Trinkle, Secretary
Kathy has been married to Dan for over 29 years and they have one son, Samuel age 22. She is Samuel’s primary caregiver.
Don Gentry, Director
Dr. Don K. Gentry is retired after twenty-six years of service as a faculty member and administrator for Purdue University. He was the first Director of the Purdue Statewide Technology Program; Professor of Industrial Technology; and Assistant and Associate Dean of the College of Technology.
Jennifer Hoover, Director
Jennifer is a self-advocate who has grown up in West Lafayette and has a lot of knowledge about the greater Lafayette community. She has had a long working career including almost 20 years at Target.
Rhonda Jones, Director
Rhonda Jones is an energetic marketing professional with 30-plus years of experience in marketing and public relations.
Stephen Snyder, Director
Stephen is the Field Representative for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157. He also serves as a Lafayette City Councilman at Large, serving over 90K Lafayette community residents.
Wendy Starr, Director
Wendy has committed most of her life to caring or advocating for those in special circumstances.
