Stephen Snyder
Stephen says he is am humbled and excited about making a positive impact that will transcend generations of our communities. He’s also lived in Lafayette for all his adult life and most of his teenage years. He currently sits on the Community Investment Committee which oversees funding for several non-profit agencies that receive monies from the United Way of Greater Lafayette. He feels this experience has highlighted the need for crucial skilled volunteer work and has provided many people with the opportunity to give back.
Stephen is also very active in giving back to the community. He has served on the Region 4 Workforce Development Board which oversees federal grants for employers and employees as well as the Lafayette Economic Development Commission. In 2020, he was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees for Ivy Tech Campus in Lafayette.
In December 2021 Stephen was sworn in as Lafayette City Councilmen at Large which serves over 90K Lafayette community residents.
