Rhonda Jones
Rhonda Jones is an energetic marketing professional with 30-plus years of experience in marketing and public relations. She currently serves as the Senior Marketing and Communications Professional for the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. Her focus is on internal and external communications, sharing how every small step in innovation leads to a giant leap forward in solving the healthcare issues of today and tomorrow.
Prior to joining Purdue University, Rhonda served as the Senior Public Relations Coordinator for IU Health. One of her favorite jobs was as Director of Development and Communication for Wabash Center where she oversaw fundraising, grant writing, and the planning of special events. She was also responsible for all communications on Wabash Center and the services they offered. The best part of the job for her was the hugs received when working with the clients.
Through the years, Rhonda has been active as a volunteer in the Greater Lafayette community and has served on several boards. Causes close to her heart include those working with people with disabilities and breast cancer awareness.
Rhonda is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Communication. She and her husband Chris live in downtown Lafayette. Their son Walker is living his best life at Xavier University.
